PTracker update coming soon

Finally, I got a little bit of spare time to work on this. This time, it will be better than before. I am also working on the tablet version.

In a few weeks from now, the updated version of PTracker should be available for use. I sincerely apologize for this delay. My day job doesn't really give me much time to work on this.

Ptracker v1.12 released

Ok. Well, to be frank, I have been too busy with other stuff. And thus, it has been quite some time that I have worked on this. Finally, I got a few minutes off from work, and thought, let's fix it today. As per my initial tests, it should work, but I cannot be sure without your feedback.

So, I would request all of you to please download the latest upgrade and check if it works for you. If yes, let me know, else, send me a mail cursing me. :( Those of you who are wondering what exactly I am talking about, well, it was a SSL bug, which stopped you from even logging in on your 2.2 devices. However, the same application worked on 2.1 and back, it refused to work on almost all 2.2 devices.

BOTTOM LINE: You can now use PTracker on Froyo (2.2) devices happily. And now I can concentrate on adding more new features.

Ptracker v1.11 released

This release is a minor release, especially for people who are still getting SSL errors. This seems to happen only on rooted phones.

Please let us know if this update fixes the problem. Also, it would be great if we can get some feedback from users without rooted phones.

Thanks,
Kumar

Ptracker v1.1 released

A few days back, Ptracker seemed to have stopped working. The problem, which needed to be fixed was related to the SSL connection with Pivotal Tracker server. Probably something has changed.

This update will fix this problem, and you should be able to see use Ptracker with this new update.

It wasn't a planned release. We had plans of updating the app with new features, but due to this critical problem, wherein, you couldn't even login any more, this needed an immediate fix.

We will be updating the app with new features very soon.

First views of Ptracker for Android

Ptracker for Android is a thin client for Pivotal Tracker for your Android powered phones. I have been working quite a bit on Pivotal and I think it's a great tool. I sometimes need to have a look at my dashboard, or may be get a snapshot of what's happening out there in my project. So, I searched for an app for my phone. I found a few, but none were good enough for me. So, I decided to work on that, and make a tool that would help people who use Pivotal Tracker a lot.

This is what I have got after a few days of work. This is still under development. The greatest challenge in this is to manage the stories and keep them updated. Some kind of real live syncing would make it an important tool for developers and product owners. Here are the first views. Hope you like it.

    Login Screen - Pretty simple

Projects Screen - View all your projects here

Activity Screen - A snapshot of recent activities

Your Stories - Let the action begin

When I get to manage my stories well, this app will available for free on the market. Let's see how soon can I run to the finish line. :)
